Jeff did you know you incorrectly labelled this game?

In Game Theory, The Prisoner's Dilemma is a situation where 2 people commit a crime together and are forced to either remain silent or confess. If this both stay silent, they only get a small sentence, however, if only one of them confesses then that person will have a reduced sentence and the person who remained silent will receive a even longer sentence. Now however, if they both confess and blame the other, the sentence they will each receive will each be enlonged, however it will still be better then being the "sucker" in the previous situation. Therefore, in the "Prisoner's Dilemma", it is assumed the best thing to do is to "Confess" rather then to "remain silent" therefore it is presumed that more people will confess or in the terms of this game, "steal".

The situation above however, is describing a "Golden Balls" situation where the cost of both stealing is worse. The cost of being a sucker is the same cost of both losing, therefore it is more equal. This and the "Prisoner's Dilemma" are two different games, therefore this game should be invalidated and we should all receive 10 coins for this challenge being improperly labelled.

Thank you for listening to my TED Talk.
