Question though for the group. Are we buying that half as mini factoid about each of us as a he played a good social game?? Cause that was some surface level shit right there masked in a "I know each and every one of you well, see"
I was good with him socially, but not as much strategically. He was pretty patronizing, at least to me.

Dan wrote: Fri Oct 30, 2020 10:44:15 am @John I gave you all my coin when I got voted out as a sort of peace offering. You were totally honest and correct about things. I thought my crew had things on lock. Turns out they didn't. If I had known that I would have flipped. I should have the second Carl went out but Alison and Angelina were pretty anti-Dan so I didn't think it would work.
Appreciated it dude. I wanted and tried to work with you since I thought we got along before the swap, but it wasn’t in the cards.

Will also say you may not like my confessional for a couple rounds during the merge.
Lol it never really occurred to me that they would go public so everyone is going to hate me (even more) than they do now. No worries :)

I read it. Just thought you respected a quality liar, but I see your point.
I definitely can and do respect lying as a necessary part of this game. When it’s unnecessary and pointless with no impact on the results (such as when you know you have a majority and they can’t possibly have an idol like at the final 4), I don’t appreciate it whatsoever.

Definitely have an open mind to all three of them potentially getting my vote though, and I don’t consider myself bitter at all. That said, I’m hoping to find out how much of what was said to me personally was genuine because that’s the fine line between strategy and jury management that you have to tread carefully if you want to win this game.
Totally agree, not lying for the sake of lying, but for game purposes. I'm excited for you to read back on your vote out John. I really was with you and got my legs swept out from under me. I had way more invested with you and Alison than Nick and Kara, so that is how I wanted it to go. I got outplayed that round and then failed to save Alison the next round. Not what I wanted to happen at all, but eventually I knew we would have to get you at some point, so I leaned into it with everyone else. I was never lying to you just to do it.
I believe you since you have no real reason to lie at this point, but if you weren’t the one making the decision and only voting for me to join the majority......well it’s pretty clear that the three people in the finals all must’ve already been apart of that confirmed majority against me. So yeah, they all lied to me when they knew I was toast which is cool and fine within the context of the game.....However it means they’re going to have to really explain their plans and rationale in order to win my vote. To that I say: Game on!

Yep, they owe you an explanation for sure, but we all saw you as the biggest threat to win, so I am sure that is what you are going to hear. The read back confirms that, you would have torched us all.

I also failed to save myself, that was an immunity challenge I absolutely needed to win but I misread the instructions, and that’s on me. It wasn’t up to you to save me and it wasn’t up to John to either when he did but I appreciate the fact that I was so vital to both of you because if I’m being honest you both were vital to me as well. Now if Jessica had made it to the merge I think things would have been VERY different.

Sorry, worded poorly, you were no damsel. I just wanted you to stay...had plans! We, the collective we, all failed.

@Tommy I should probably tell you there is a confessional where I talk pretty harshly about you, it was the night I was blindsided and dean had me thinking you fucked me over so when you’re reading that one please disregard lmao.

No worries at all. I am sure we all pop up negatively in each others confessionals. This game will do that to you, quite easily, so no harm done.

This isn’t a race.
Nah but it'd be nice to just have it so we could have a nice, whole relaxing day to plan out our questions and think about discussions.

I don’t want to vote for any of them. This was a great cast and we get the most lackluster three of the entire cast possibly. I prefer voting Dan than any of the three that are left.
Sweet! Maybe keeping you off your antipsychotics is a good idea after all :zany:
I’m just saying without my meds this game would have seen a whole different Alison :crine: :crine:
I might have not even be here without my meds :crine:

You don't think so? Glad he will get a chance to share his plan, but he really did. Again, not sure I can vote for him for all the hiding, but it feels as though he executed his vision of how he wanted to play.

I feel as though people aren't giving enough credit for someone who plays a lying game. Even more than just "necessary" lies. And I don't believe Aaron was a Missy-level liar if anyone is arguing that.

Now, even if someone treated you poorly, or they lied more than they should have in your opinion, or might have backstabbed you or an ally unfairly, etc. Whatever it is, you should still look at this from a gameplay point of view only and remove any emotion from this. At least that's my POV, and I suppose it's a minority opinion here which is fine, I can't change what you lot think. I just respect the game, that's all.

Also, if y'all are apologizing for confessionals... that's nothing compared to a lot of shit I've said about pretty much the entire cast at different points in the game lmfao. Just remember, everything was in the moment :crine: :crine:

Killer game is the antithesis of how I'd describe Jack actually. I know what kind of game he played, but he really has to kill it with his opening statement or else it won't get recognized. The hiding won't affect my vote personally.

I prob went too far with the suplitatives. You should hand those out to everyone Dean. The hiding doesnt bother you? As a person that was on and invested 22 hours a day 7 days a week you respect him cowtailing when he made people upset?

Again, you're not saying the right words. I said it doesn't bother me; that doesn't translate to I respect him for it. It's neutral in my opinion and a non-factor. Also he wasn't the only one who did it (he did it the most though yes).
