Nick and I got so hyped about making that move. It was like two meth heads talking each other into knocking off a gas station. Should we be doing this "Fuck yeah man this will be a defining move." That was a fun tribal, but I had to lay super low cause finally you all hated Nick more than me, but still me a lot.

Also hate is a strong word, I think most people resented Nick and just didn't want him anymore but it helped that for the Carl vote he came clean with it but you never admitted to anything before the jury (at least back in F9)

John put it all in motion. I need one defector and had no clue who it was gonna be. John said, "you should talk to Nick" and 30 seconds later we were on the same page. He didn't like his spot in your group and if I was even invited over, it would have been me on the bottom with Nick standing on my head, so it really made sense for me and him to do what we did.

That vote was step 1 to trusting and I didn't have much to lose. Go out there, 9th, 6th, what's the difference if I was just waiting for my time to go vs getting some control back and gaining a little more trust from John and Nick.

Yep, I stuck to that lie as long as I could. I told people individually that were still in the game, but I was gonna own that fuck up at FTC and just tell you all it was what it was, but I did me no good to prove it was me, even though you were 99% sure it was. And look at Jack, did the same thing and no one was the wiser. Another great Jack play no one really knew. I certainly didn't.

I still think that was fucking stupid on Nick. Not the flipping, but his reasoning behind flipping. Saying that he felt on the bottom of us 4? No that's some idiotic paranoia at play. Around start of merge me and Aaron were thinking of cutting Carl and Nick out later on, like starting at F9/F8 roughly, and we always talked about Carl going first and not Nick. Nick wasn't on our damm radar at all; actually we might have carried him to the end once we got Carl out.

Also that's sad you felt that way about your own position Tommy, since me and Aaron were so looking forward to getting you in our club after merge, so I'm not sure why you think you'd be at the bottom of a hypothetical 5.

Now I don't watch Survivor so I don't know how it works with tribe dynamics, but I'm not sure why people think that alliances on the swap tribes would be stronger than the OG tribe alliances. It was an eye opener to me since both you and Jack seemed... off at first. I thought we would regroup immediately like as if the swap never happened.

I was dying to get back with you all, but I think I had mentioned this once before, but I played this game one other time on discord and I was put 2-4 swap and developed insane loyalty to my second tribe that half kept me in the game, half I earned it.

So I saw you/nick/carl/aaron as a we voted together, took out Jessica, we taking this home crew. I was still so excited to make it through Missy's bullshit and link back up, I just didn't see a world where I was ahead of those two for you all. The swap was a total fucking disaster for Miombo OG and 2.0.

Prob a mix of my insecurity/experience in 1 other game. Stupidity. And then feeling like everyone had solid footing and other branches on their game tree where I had just seen half my game get voted out (Chels/Liz and lost Missy - PUKE).

So you all had people to fall back on and I felt like I could make a big move and start blazing my own trail with John and Alison while still trying maintain surface level allegiance with you and Aaron even though I had just turned on you all.

It was nothing you all did to me personally. I played up the poor treatment to John to justify my move. It was super silent for a long time, but I expected that after the moves I'd made. I put myself on exile, not your fault at all.

She was obviously a huge personality and threat, but I knew she would be loyal as long as you didn't give her a reason to question you, which I never was going to do. I don't think anyone could of known the extent to Lauren and I's relationship, but you could make a guess cause I wanted her aligned with everyone I was pre swap so we could hook back up. Why I was pumped she was with you and Aaron. And then you all won the 3-3 battle I was even more excited. Then Hurricane Missy struck.
