Fucking Stranded shill.

I still don't even know what ORG stands for. I played this because I was recruited from r/bigbrother and it seemed like fun. This website draws a lot of inspiration from a variety of things, and there is flash and flare, and most of Stranded seems to be professional and gives care to itself. But if there are games like this on Discord... ew tbh? There probably isn't a lot of immersion with that. Not to mention you can very easily cheat I'd imagine and I hate any sort of cheaters.

I suppose they can be nice if you want to play these kinds of games more frequently, or use them as minor practice, but Stranded is the only one I'll ever do.
Online Reality Game. And yeah there are a lot of toxic people who cheat so it is not a great experience lmao... There are some good games though, you just have to find the right hosts and pray you get a good cast. Everyone here had great personalities and a lot of things happened this season so we got lucky.
I'm definitely pleased with the overall turnout for this season. Don't know how it compares to other Stranded seasons but I think we got it all here.

You've said you hosted some types of these games in the past yes? If you ever need a Stranded vet for it, I'm always free.

I think people look at your social game as your strategy, since people will feel comfortable with you after talking a while and it might evolve into becoming allies or something. That's how my alliance viewed you and John actually: You were the social powerhouse connecting with everyone in the frontlines, while John was the head of the snake strategizing everything from behind, making you two a powerful duo and that's why you were considered targets. Plus Kara and Ang*lina to make your Poroto foursome that was super-solid tight.

I also think for me the merge was when I started to lose a bit of control. I mean, the only vote I actually wanted to happen that did happen was Dan, and even then it was unanimous. I did vote for Missy to go out yeah, but she wasn't my #1 choice at that moment to go I think, plus I don't think I was the one leading the charge for that vote? For some reason the whole day of Missy's TC is a blur to me.

Jack I knew had a few connections to Poroto still, and Tommy was suspect too, but Nick was where the real problem was. He made himself my blind spot, and I think for my entire alliance actually.
John gets all the credit for that. Like I mentioned he hooked Nick and I up and the rest was history. Dean, I can't speak for anyone else, but what made you insanely dangerous in my eyes was your ability to deeply connect with someone and how quickly you could do it.

It was my own speculation, but it looked like you and Ang had connected and were the new King and Queen of chat/ a duo.

John vote, then Alison vote for me is where I lost control. Which was ironic cause the results on paper were exactly what I wanted (Tommy-Aaron-Jack vs Kara-Nick), but I wanted to keep John over Nick and then take out John over Alison. But Kara and Nick were immune, so Alison or I was gonna go at 6.
I'm still shocked at how quick you were to group up with Nick. That was quite a risk you took.

I try to connect with anyone in anyway. I feel I can connect with most people, if they open themselves up to it. But me and Ang was just social :crine: We probably spoke more to each other in the tribe chat than with each other so maybe that didn't help public perception. The only time I worked with her was when she made that thing with me and Aaron to agree to vote out Dan then Jack with her side just to save us. Even then it was almost like an ultimatum that simply delayed the inevitable.
That is funny cause I IM'd with her constantly and we just told each other hard truth after hard truth about how we liked one another but we were never on the same page. During the Lauren vote out I told her to her face that I told everyone to vote her out, but she didn't get 1 vote. (Part of why it was much easier for me to jump ship as well Dean, cause I thought Alison would get some votes and be saved by Johns Idol and then Ang would go).

She was a Capt Holt/Amy Santiago level puzzle master and everyone seemed to like her so I wanted her out A$AP Rocky.

In the game I won, the part of John (similar style of play and candor), I found out was a 15 year old kid that could name like the 4th vote off on the 6th season of Survivor and what tribe they were on.

1. He was eating my lunch in the game
2. Was fucking 15, am I even allowed to talk to him over the internet?
3. I was 14 years old than the next oldest contestant. Like imagine Rudy winning Season 1.

Really soured me to discord. Like I said, this was 1000x better.

Nick wrote: Mon Nov 02, 2020 1:50:51 pm But it is really funny how influential the Davie vote was on the swap and I didn't even think about that until now because I remember how much I didn't care about the vote. I just remember everyone was so torn between voting Christian and Davie and I didn't give a rat's ass who went because I didn't really care too much for either of them.
Davie was awesome.
I just didn't care for Davie because we never talked game. I liked him as a person though, but I did vote him out over Christian because Christian seemed to be open to talk about the game and I could see myself working with him.
Davie was fine, I didn't care one way or the other but it just made me notice that people were trying to push the vote the way they wanted earlier and like I said before, I was not going to be on the bottom of that alliance when we merged back up lol.

Also this was my first ORG thing but I've been using Discord for forever now and do a couple of online stuff on there. I don't know if I would want to do something that isn't Stranded since this does seem like the most well run one but who knows? I only found this place after finishing Winners at War and needing a Survivor fix lol

The one I did was really well run, but the threat of cheating as Nick mentioned always there and prevents you from pouring your heart and soul into it like we all did here.

Org is like that hosts Organization of Survivor. Like each of their seasons. I played in this particular hosts Season 2. He has now finished 5 seasons, so that is his Org.

The absolute worst part was I was 32 days in till I was even told this. I was blindly playing an online Survivor game with what I 10)% thought were other adults and like half the cast was under 21. Once I found that out, I was like Chris Hansen is gonna walk through my door any minute. It soured me on the experience for sure.

Her skills at puzzles/challenges was legit was scared me the most. I talked it a couple of times in my confessionals but she was actually insane at it. In that first immunity/reward challenge, she chose to play for coin instead of immunity but beat me and Kara by a full 8 minutes while I was only like 30 seconds behind Kara

Yeah she held her own in comps so that'd have been another plus.

Did he lie about his age or was it just something you never took into account? Well at least it didn't sully the moment when you did in fact win. Or wait, how long did it last?

I used to know a ton about the show. Stopped watching about 10 years ago though before coming back for a random season here or there, so it’d be pretty weird if I was only 15. Winners in War gif me to go back and watch some of the seasons I’ve missed, but I have a lot more to go before I’ve seen all 40.

I'm doing a complete Season 1-40 binge of Survivor after we're done here on Stranded. Catch up on all the seasons I haven't seen yet so when Aaron or the hosts want to use Survivor references on me I actually get it.

I was worse at the Discord Technology then the Stranded. I had no idea what I was doing, so I really didn't ask any extra questions cause I was asking things all the time. I even found a random user online that could walk me how to do basic discord functions cause it was so hard to just pick up. Like to to even search for the idol or discord bot commands. I was in way over my head.

So, I never asked like how old anyone was cause it just never came up organically. And no one said "hey ill be right back I have a math quiz to study for," so my dumbass just assumed I was playing with other adults.

My alliance was with a pair for 32 year olds and we named it the A.A.R.P alliance. To be honest, it did ruin it a bit, but it was still nice to win. 39 day game. I went to every single tribal but 1 where the other team threw it.

Am I bad for immediately thinking "if you were worse on Discord tech than here, then I really gotta see how Aaron plays on Discord" 😂😂

More like LARP am I right 🥁

39 days is quite a commitment. So you found out toward the end... I thought if you at least found out after it ended then it wouldn't be as bad, but since you were still playing the game when you found out you were playing against your grandchild, yeah I can see how you'd imagine it to be ruined.
