I wasn't apart of it, so I guess I can't comment. That said, Dan was the decoy vote all day, and him leaving unanimously when he did kind of pointed that Dean/Aaron/Jack didn't really care to fight for him to stay, and he was only included because of his relationship with Carl.

Oh, I felt I was in a good position but not because I felt safe in my alliance. Following TC, if I had stayed, and the fact Nick voted for me to fool you guys (worked for him I guess), I was planning on flipping stuff. And, I actually never really liked Aaron at all.

Take your time man. Excited to see what you can enlighten us with later on.

John wrote: Sun Oct 25, 2020 10:04:00 pm Most important thing I need to mention here that I don't think anyone here knows is that I played my idol on Alison because Jack whispered to me about Alison getting his vote. Yes, Tommy whispered to me first, but I didn't have any reason to trust him at that point and actually didn't believe him whatsoever since it seemed like such an obvious play to get us to waste an idol. Jack is the reason that I saved Alison. After he whispered to me, I quickly told Kara and Alison to switch their votes to Lauren (Aaron, Jack, and Dan had all been thrown around for the last 24 hours), but we switched to Lauren 3 minutes before the deadline when her name hadn't appeared all day. I felt like she was in the core of the alliance and no one would play an idol on her.
This is interesting to me. To Jack, I was his closest ally on Miombo, so naturally I was excited to see him at merge, but I felt that he was so brainwashed by the kindness of Poroto that I'd lose him, since I was now putting him in a hard place between siding with either me or Poroto. Carl and I were wanting to go after you after what he told me about you as a player thus far (and the rest of your group). Jack and I agreed to play the middle together, and Jack would still remain in your group chat and talk with you in order to bring information to me. I had my own fears though in the back of my mind that he'd tell you guys much more than I'd like him to, and I guess my fears were correct.

John wrote: Sun Oct 25, 2020 10:04:00 pm I was shocked that Jack was able to get Tommy blamed for everything when it was him. That said, I don't know if this was a deliberate action from his point of view or more circumstantial.
Yeah no I love Jack but I'm positive it was just a coincidence, I don't think he himself managed to flip anyone to thinking Tommy did it. Some did think Jack of as an afterthought though, as an "oh yeah, it could have been him who slipped the plan" but that was minimal and all our eyes were super fixated on Tommy being the one to tell and him the reason for the idol being played. Mainly because Alison whispered to me early on at tribal about Tommy telling her that she was being the target, and after TC Tommy was vehemently denying that he said anything to you guys. Like, in the way that makes you look more suspect. So naturally, we all figured it was just an open secret from that moment on that he spilt the plan and he was the reason why Alison was saved.

Actually I felt good with Dean too. Dean, Tommy and to a lesser extent, Tommy. And I think Angelina was flexible so even her. I was never going to work with Nick and Aaron long term because I’d knew they’d try to make a move at my expense.

Dean wrote: Mon Oct 26, 2020 3:27:32 pmI believe it was the time period of post-Lauren pre-Carl where we didn't talk to Tommy, since we decided he may not be able to be trusted with delicate game info since he told you about our Alison plan. For me it only was game. This whole game is just a game to me. So it confuses me when you say Tommy got treated poorly after the Lauren vote, because all I did was just talk to Tommy a bit less. I know Aaron was very vocal to me about his hatred for what Tommy did (I think he told me he didn't even want to speak with him after the game and he was worse than Nick), so unless Aaron or others went hard on him, I don't understand your last point.
Your first sentence is what I was referring to regarding Tommy. Leaving him completely out of the vote kind of forced his hand into joining us. He told me he was planning on it before, but he also told me a lot of things that weren’t true so I didn’t know if it was guaranteed. The line was drawn in the sand against him, and he acted on it.

And yeah, I’m fine bringing this to another thread.
I'll continue it here then.

I personally didn't see it as a line drawn in the sand, but that's my perspective. I didn't cut Tommy off completely, I still was open to trying things with him, and act like it was a bump in the road. For the Thursday I tried to include him in talks and bring him up to speed on things and vice versa. Never realized just how much Tommy went in with you guys though.

Lmao honestly read every thread. It's all hilarious. It's all a game, no need to take it all so seriously.

I feel like the most entertaining or strategic players are no longer in the game, cuz Ponderosa is finally starting to get interesting  but I wonder who'll join us tonight.

If Nick wins this immunity challenge, I feel he should be a massive target (if he's not already) because he is a comp beast, while also being adequate at playing the middle. To me, that seems like the perfect combination for getting to F3 at this point in his game, since all he has to do is balance the power between people, make sure he's the swing vote, and win immunity if he feels he is in danger. Tommy has won comps in the past, but he isn't doing too well now IIRC in wins. So he's the lesser threat out of those two I think. I think Tommy could be one of our three finalists actually (not that he'll win unless he's beside Jack and Kara  ).

Hypothetically if Alison doesn't want to work with Kara because she voted John out, then I don't think there are remaining duos left in the game, and that any bonds going forward will be 100% strategic and out of necessity, and not out of early friendship or anything that formed pre-merge or on our swap tribes. Aka my favourite kind of gameplay

Alison and Tommy were two people that I noticed poking around the hidden idol forum a lot, so I suspect one of those two have the idol, if it has been discovered by now. I think Tommy might get dragged to the end, but Alison has a valid reason to use the idol. She's one of the few people left who is a threat and can win this game. I know Aaron feels very threatened by Alison. For the (first and failed) John vote, our alliance decided we needed to get either Alison or John out, but we were contemplating the whole day, but most of us didn't mind who went. I felt like you were the biggest threat, John, so I finally took charge and said John, but Aaron was suuuuper heavy on Alison and it wasn't until near tribal council when Aaron conceded to vote you out. So unless some reconciliation happened between those two after I departed, I could see Aaron wanting Alison out right after you. Whether that will backfire on him or not remains to be seen.

Finally getting us back on track haha. All of the good characters are gone though :sob: Unless we count Aaron and his bad technological skills

Kara is also doing sneaky well in challenges too btw. She's won two immunity idols so far and has been the best with Nick remaining. I still think they need to target Nick tonight but if he can continue to play that middle, he has a good shot at F3. Let's see if they all realize that since he did get 2 votes last night.

Also is there anyone who hasn't gotten a vote yet? The Dean vote kinda messed that up since it had so many single votes

Oh I know those lurkers are bashing their heads in the wall with who is left compared to what could have been. Let's just chalk it up to "it's 2020" :crine:

Excuse me, he is an innovator, don't disrespect Aaron Gates-Jobs like that again.

You're right about Kara, I suppose she at least has that under her belt. Still, besides being a flip vote for John I don't think she's done much for strategy, so if she makes it to F3, it will be a very high hill for her to climb to explain why we should let her win.

If Nick isn't the one that is leaving tonight, I need the tea immediately on what the fuck is wrong with these burnt popcorn kernels left in the game.

Nope, I believe everyone has received at least 1 vote since every TC began now.

Don’t remember Tommy getting one either.

When Dean left, Jack and Aaron voted for each other.

I'm positive I saw her name once but it was just a single vote. Maybe I'm mistaken for Kara, but I'm sure everyone else has gotten votes before.

Don’t think that’s right, but let me know if I’m forgetting something. I think you’re all underestimatIng Kara either way.

As for everyone left, every single one of them is playing this game hard. We shouldn’t be disappointed watching the rest of them fight it out.

I’m concerned for Alison after last night........

I’m not giving that bitch any credit. It’s easy to not get votes if you’re playing that type of game. She probably only voted for you because she knew where the majority was going - which makes me not respect her even more.
